Join us on November 14th for a fun-filled night of VIRTUAL Trivia hosted by the Young Friends of Marian Middle School.

Attendees will have the chance to participate in three rounds of competitive trivia with six to eight questions per round led by a professional host! Teams will discuss and answer questions through private Zoom breakout rooms, so they can still share in knowledge and fun. They will also have the option to join raffles and donate to our Teacher Wish List using the GiveSmart platform. Throughout the Trivia event, attendees will hear from our Young Friends leadership, Marian President, Mary Elizabeth Grimes, and a Marian Girl who has experienced the transformational supports that Marian offers!

Here is a short timeline for the event:

1. The Zoom room will open at 6:45.
2. We'll kick-off a few minutes after 7:00 to allow players to join. Please note: when you join you must change your Zoom name to your Table Number + Name (i.e. 1 John Smith). Marian will email directions for doing so.
3. The host will walk through some housekeeping items to let teams know how they will play.
4. We will then get players into their teams and breakout Zoom rooms. Teams will have a chance to choose their captain.
5. The host will provide the game URL where teams can submit answers. Only the captain will need to open the game URL, and they will be responsible for registering their team and submitting answers.
6. Once all teams are registered, we will start trivia play. The host will present questions and team captains will submit their team's answers through the TriviaHub website at the end of each round.
7. After each round, answers will be reviewed, and scores will be announced.
8. Final scores will be tallied after the last round. If there is a tie, we will go into an optional tie-breaker round where the tied teams will compete in a numerical question. The team closest to the answer will break the tie and win.
9. The winning team will be announced, along with winners of the raffles. If necessary, we will gather winners' contact info.
10. We will wrap-up and wish everyone well!

After purchasing tickets and registering, please be on the lookout for emails from Marian, which will include your Table Number, Zoom link to access the event, and directions for check-in.

We look forward to sharing fun, fellowship, and the Marian story with you! Thank you to our generous sponsors: Stifel Bank, Parkside Financial Bank and Trust, Bradford & Galt, Midwest Employers Casualty, Crane Agency, Moneta, Matt Bruns of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and David and Beverly Voloto.
